Control System Design

For this assignment, I decided to take the Interbank Bank of Peru as a reference again.

Interbank's background

Internacional del Peru Bank was founded on May 1, 1897. In 1996 it was decided to change the name to Interbank, beginning a new way of doing banking in Peru, and with the aim of turning each agency into a true financial store where, just by entering, the client felt that they were accessing a different, reliable and solid bank.

A place where you could find financial products and services provided with the necessary advice and special, agile, convenient, close, and innovative attention. Its mission is to be the best bank through the best people and its purpose is to "accompany Peruvians to achieve their dreams, today". Today Interbank is one of the main financial institutions in the country focused on providing innovative products and a convenient and agile service to more than 2 million customers.

Output control
is the most common type of control in organizations. Prioritize measurable results, such as sales targets, customer satisfaction ratings, and product quality requirements.

Interbank can use output control to track the number of visitors to its online banking platform on a daily basis. Additionally, it can analyze the performance of your digital marketing tactics and overall customer satisfaction with Internet banking services by setting a daily goal for website visits.

Interbank can recognize any drop in customer interest by analyzing website traffic statistics and promptly taking corrective action, such as improving user and customer experience.

Behavior control refers to the actions employees take to get results. This type of control is often used in organizations when the desired results are not so obvious or difficult to assess. Interbank, for example, can use behavior monitoring to ensure workers follow processes to handle customer complaints or maintain security requirements.

Behavior monitoring can be a good technique to ensure that workers act in accordance with the bank's principles and take the necessary steps to achieve the bank's objectives.

Clan control is a type of informal control that relies on shared traditions, expectations, values, and standards to motivate people to work for the benefit of their organization. This type of control is often used in organizations where innovation is valued or where employees must be able to make decisions for themselves.

Interbank, for example, could use clan control to create a sense of belonging among employees or to encourage people to share ideas with their team members. Clan control can contribute to creating a healthy work environment and inspire employees to develop skills such as innovation or creativity.
